As a design researcher at 3×3, Carolyn brings her background at the intersection of urban planning and health equity, with a special lens on housing. Carolyn has worked with multiple New York City government agencies on the planning and implementation of place-based community health initiatives, and has spent several years advising health systems on population health strategic planning. Carolyn holds a Master of Public Health in Sociomedical Sciences with a certificate in Social Determinants of Health from Columbia University, where she won the Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award and served as a Student Fellow in the Urban Community and Health Equity Lab. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis.
