Sarah is a multi-disciplinary designer and storyteller with a background in architectural design and urban planning, with a keen interest in engaging social equity through design. At 3×3, she is focused on creating visual communications, facilitating qualitative research, and conducting public outreach. Prior to 3×3, Sarah worked as a graduate researcher on various research teams such as Carehaus and the MIT Civic Data Design Lab supporting the Living Data Hubs project based in her home country, Kenya. She has also developed graphic material for Boston Indicators, BlackSpace, and Kounkuey Design Initiative (KDI). Sarah holds an MCP in Community and Regional Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.Arch from Virginia Tech.
