In alignment with the 2024 AIANY Presidential Theme, Belonging and Beyond, AIA New York is proud to partner with 3×3 to re-launch this immersive two-day seminar is designed to equip architects and allied professionals with the tools, skills, and frameworks to lead equitable, inclusive, and trust-centered community engagement processes.
In this info session we’ll cover our community-centered values framework providing an overview of the fundamentals of inclusive engagement— ranging from social positionality to exploring power dynamics. You’ll learn about how the workshop can enrich your professional growth through deepening your understanding of core principles, learning how to create barrier free engagement, and practicing inclusive facilitation techniques to foster belonging and care in the built environment.
