Designed and deployed and Engagement Campaign to foster awareness, mobilize involvement, and provide community members and partner organizations with avenues to take action for comprehensive neighborhood health around the pillars of: food access, environmental health, and life style.
The Two Bridges Neighborhood Council (TBNC) sought to develop a unified and culturally-responsive campaign that engages residents and partner organizations for its Healthy Neighborhoods Fund initiative. The goal was to foster awareness, mobilize involvement, and provide community members and partner organizations with avenues to take action for comprehensive neighborhood health.
Developed a research framework to understand the existing perceptions of health and well being for the Two Bridges community. Facilitated a series of workshops with the Two Bridges Neighborhood Council to get consensus around desired outcomes of the campaign. Conducted over a 3-week immersive period, a study within the community used design research methods to rapidly collect data and develop insights for strategizing an appropriate design language and identity. Qualitative research methods were used further to justifying the appropriate activation plan and graphic language the campaign should adopt.
Through workshops and community outreach, 3×3 connected with the neighborhood to best design an outreach campaign for Two Bridges. Developed a detailed implementation strategy and launched an awareness campaign, using print and customized digital tools. These tactics fostered an activated connection with stakeholders, ambassadors, and the community while encouraging healthy living. Outcomes included the development of an identity, presented in the form of a brand book with adaptive brand elements, communication tools, and design mechanicals. Additionally, an operational document with a calendar and series of events was delivered in the form of an activation plan.
