We’ve created this recurring gathering space for emerging and established practitioners to connect, learn, and support each other in their use of community-centered design. We welcome all professional backgrounds and experience levels — no prior training or knowledge of community-centered design needed!

Format
This online event will be a combination of a CC101 overview and a guest speaker presentation, followed by an open discussion. The Zoom link will be shared prior to the start of the session.
Guest Speaker
Christ Musei-Sequeira, CJSC LLC: The guest speaker of this session, Chris has 15 years of experience managing highly technical multi-stakeholder projects totaling over $40 million in contract value. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a former employee of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Headquarters in Washington, DC. As a trained environmental policy analyst and engineer, Chris has facilitated communication and consensus-building for large transportation projects across the United States of America and internationally with community-based organizations, transportation operators, industry trade associations, and government agencies at local, State, Federal and United Nations levels.
Chris now uses his knowledge in stakeholder engagement to elevate the voices and power of social practitioners working toward more just futures in the USA and abroad. His recent work focuses on (1) helping people find employment in the social domains; (2) coaching social business owners through strategy and insights generation; (3) facilitating networking events for business owners worldwide; and (4) reviewing business processes to find and remove obstacles in the way of their work.

Amanda Ramos, 3×3’s Head of Community, is an architect and advocate who advises on community building and learning efforts. She focuses on community-centered design to co-create futures that are strategic and regenerative.
Thomas Bond is an engagement and communications designer at 3×3 and an advocate for social change who believes that all people are designers in their own right. With a deep commitment to community engagement, Thomas prioritizes working alongside communities to foster mutual aid, shared knowledge, and empowerment.
